Introducing my friend and contributor Patricia Bech 

My friend Patricia Bech is a travel blogger. Over the coming months she is going to write some guests articles about travel. They will include things like tips and inspiration of places to visit. Having her write for my blog will help to add something extra to my Lifestyle Loves.

I thought it would fun to have a friend to do some articles too and not just me! I recently interviewed Patricia and she shared some really interesting thoughts about both the world of blogging and travelling. She then kindly offered to do a couple of articles for me as she just loves to write!

Patricia Bech will be writing occassional articles for my blog about travel

Patricia writes the Patricia Bech Travel Notes on her own website. She also contributes to other websites as well and she is busy building up her portfolio. She has written for the well-known website, A Luxury Travel Blog as well as articles for some other sites too. Patricia is also a very good photographer as well and takes brilliant pictures from her travels. This is obviously quite important when you are writing for your own site but she has kindly allowed me to post them on my website too and share them with readers. Unfortunately I am not a very good photographer and this is something I would like to work on. Patricia has a good eye for a photo and I think to some extent that this comes naturally. Sometimes I will manage to get a good picture, but not very often.


Patricia has visited so many different countries. She is so well travelled and she has told me that this is partly as a result of her gap year. When she was on her gap year, she had the opportunity to go to lots and lots of different places all over the world. I am definitely lacking in experience when it comes to travel and I would like to know more about different places.

I think with travel, it is so important to be able to write about what you have seen. If you have actually been to a place then it means you have a much better insight into the area. It also means you have more inside knowledge. Rather than only writing about history and geography (which are both great too), you can also add some unique tips. This can really help people if they are researching a trip of trying to get a better understanding of a place that they have not been before. That said, if you love everything about travel then I guess you can pretty much write about everything. She has said that the Patricia Bech Travel Notes are all encompassing because even ideas and tips from other people that you have met can be interesting and prove helpful to others
I am very lucky to have someone with her enthusiasm sharing some of her knowledge and experiences about travel on my blog. I am sure my friends, family and any other readers will really enjoy her work.

Patricia was one of the people who encouraged me to start blogging. She has much bigger aspirations in this area than I do. She would like to become a proper writer, whereas I am just doing this as a hobby and a bit of fun while I am studying. She is very positive about having a collaborative approach, which is a great quality. Hopefully this means that there will be some interesting content to suits lots of different people and not just those who are following my own lifestyle tips. The broader the better!

Although I am only writing for fun, I did get the initial idea to start my blog when I began to read the Patricia Bech Travel Notes. Not only was it fun to follow a friend but I also figured that it is a nice way to spend time. I am so glad that she opened my eyes to the world of blogging because it has helped me so much already. Even if I am just writing a short article about my favourite new item of makeup, I just really enjoy running a diary and having that outlet. It is very therapeutic and relaxing, especially if you are bored in the evening, and this is what she told me.

You can also take a look at her website and follow her on social media. I am actually concentrating more on the blog at the moment than the social media side of things. This is because I don’t want to take on too much and it can be a lot of manage. But she is really active on Twitter and you can keep up-to-date with everything that she is doing and writing about there. 😊
